Employapathy (employa-pathy) is a job blog dedicated to my pursuit for a career in the architecture, construction, engineering and real estate development industry. While I am not rubbing elbows with architects and planners quite yet, I have gotten an amazing opportunity to manage the financial and basic operations of a very small company outside of my field of study.

While my journey is still ongoing and challenging, I have decided to use this blog to help job seekers like myself who are either looking for that dream job or that entry-level step into the industry. With that, I will frequently link to promising job advertisements from around the internet, post helpful articles and offer my insight into the basics of the job search I have learned so far.

Because of my interesting position as both a manager and as a job seeker, I hope to help my fellows out there who have to make tough decisions and enlighten them as to the pressures and conflicts that exist on both sides of the coin. I will try to document as much as I can about all things employment.
